In May 2025 I had to stay in Christchurch for almost 5 weeks to undergo a 25 session course of radiotherapy for a rising PSA result. This after 6 years ago having my prostate removed. 

 

Was a little daunting but the people I know there and family helped me through enormously and I'm very grateful to them all.

The thing that fed my creative soul during this time was photography, and Trev, who lives in Christchurch (my partner in photography crime) went on no less than 3 photography trips with me during this time. 

 

This gallery is a record of all the photographs I captured over those weeks and looking back I got to see so much country but refreshingly it wasn't in my normal backyard...
